"Ou le Tommy est-il reste?" series: one of a series of 12 so-called 'Halt gegen Licht' / 'Hold to Light' propaganda cards made by the Germans for the French as the death knell tolled for the Reich. Very scarce, and the nature of their production as well as the usual extensive handling mean most of the few that exist are in second quality -- those in this sale are in the best condition I've seen. The back is blank, but if you hold it up to the light you can see a racy color picture. This one shows a half-naked French girl in bed with a Tommy. Rare, with Pieles BPP photo cert.

Franked French-Spanish feldpost cover from JL de Lagarde from FPN 47474: Organisation Todt Oberbauleitung St. Nazaire. OkW 'y' Lyon censor tape tied with OkW censor reverse. Blue invisinble ink censor, and handstamped '94'; a nice, 'busy' cover. Since the names are different but both are French in origin and the unit is based in the port town of St Nazaire, France at this time, I would guess that the 'volunteer' is French, and sent this cover to a French friend who happens to be in Madrid. Though this is pure conjecture, of course.

Popular book / photograph set "Der Kampf im Westen" -- "The War in the West" describing the fall of France in 1940. With all 100 stereo pictures in pristine white condition -- also with the eyeglasses, also in good condition (tape -- original? -- on one lens). Even the original instruction flysheet is present. The contents (in German, of course) also includes 8 full-color pictures, of which I've only scanned one. Likewise, all 100 stereo pictures are present but I've only scanned one platen full as an example.
