One of the very popular King George VI propaganda forgeries which place the Jewish Star of David on the top of the crown, and a hammer and sickle in place of the pence symbol next to the value at the bottom. A very small number of sets (400 each) were overprinted with a variety of slogans for the territories the British were going to lose. All created by forced labor from inmates in the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp as a part of Operation Wasserwelle under SS Major Bernhard Kreuger (See the psyops.org or psywarrior.com websites), or read the book "Krueger's Men" by Leonard Malkin. '18 CV EUR800++ (caUSD936); 9 and 14 MNG as issued, the others 'used' with the listed German-forged London AAAO 6 June 1944 cancel. The same printing numbers as the others (400 sets) but scarcer than some of the seemingly more available like St Lucia and Rabaul.

A jubilant (if that can ever be applied to a concentration camp) newsletter from Dr Baeck, the de-facto leader of the camp, on May 6th, the day the SS Commander Rahm fled. "The International Red Cross has taken over protective custody of Theresienstadt...In Theresienstadt you are safe! The war has finally ended! Those who leave the camp are exposed to all the dangers of the war. Theresienstadt has taken over the handling of the Martyrs in the small fortreess (Kleine Festung)...". This document is discussed and quoted in its entirety in "Theresienstadt: das Antlitz einer Zwangsgemeinschaft" by HG Adler. There also appears to be a copy in the Central European University in Hungary. An important piece of ephemera from the Holocaust.

A resettlement document from the Israelitische Kultusgemeinde / Jewish Cultural center in in Kladno, WWII occupied Bohemia Moravia / Czechoslovakia. The family of Dr Erwin "Israel" Frankl, along with a woman Martha "Sarah" Heksch are being evicted from their home in Kladno and being relocated to Lubno. it is interesting that this resettlement order is from the Jewish committee and not the SS; perhaps to add insult to injury, by making the Jewish elders do the dirty work? The family has already had their names changed to include the obligatory "Israel" and "Sarah". Folded, with file holes at left.

A collection of 14 covers from a man - Bohomil Mueller - his parents, and his wife Nelli. He was of Aryan descent, she of Jewish. This philatelic story starts with both interned in the Prague Hagibor Work Camp / Ghetto for 'Versippten' (inter-related) and 'Mischlinge' (mixed-race). The first cover is from Nelli in Prag XI, Schweringasse (also called Schwerinova) 1201 (the address for Hagibor), to her mother-in-law Lida. The next cover is interesting in that it is addressed from and to Prague. He has been separated from her, and is being shipped out to a forced labor camp the next day. He tells her "I'm fine. Everything is in order. Tomorrow I will find out my new address and will let you know." The next letter is in Czech, to his father, and while I can't read Czech I assume the contents are similar, since he has now arrived in his first location, The Org Todt concentration camp "Klein Stein", which is for the punishment of Jewish "Mischlinge". The next cover is from the same location,...
