The folder measures ca 6x4inches and contains in imperf version mounted on card of Michel 804, 12pf View from the Belvedere palace in Vienna, By Prof Puchinger and in fact issued from the Staatsdruckerei. The protective cellophane is aged and split; the stamp, card, and folder are in pristine condition.

Osaka, Japan postcard dated Jan 22, 1901, provisioning at Nagasaki, used from on board the SMS Kaiserin Elizabeth, in China to support the Alliance of 8 Country's troops in suppressing the Boxer Rebellion. This is a scarce card from the small contingent of the Austrian Kriegsmarine in the Far East at this period. Austria had a relatively small Navy which became landlocked after WWI. With POLA 1 (their main naval base) receiver. Slightly worn, excellent condition. Rare!

Feldpost from Kommando Stelle "S", Einsatz bei der Fuehrung der Fernraketen-Verbaende / unit for the development and coordination of the long-range rocket program, aka the Vergeltungswaffe / 'Vengeance Weapons' or 'Wunderwaffe' / 'Wonder Weapons'. With line cachet of FPRN12310 and the distinctive Peenemuende V / VII cancel. From other correspondence we know that this man was a member of 'Gruppe Peters' at Peenemuende and then AAA271 at Schneidemuehl, with a long history of work on the V2 / A4.

Colorado Territory-era Gold Rush Mining cover with SILVERTON COL target cancel sent to New Haven, CT. A bit worn, trimmed open at left, good genuine usage, as per scans. Ex Schuyler Rumsey sale 52-53, Lot 794. According to Bauer this cancel was only used July-Aug 1875, and was unknown to Jarrett. Silverton still exists, a beautiful little relic in the middle of the San Juan's, just about an hour and a half from where we live. Early mining cover from this region of the then-wilderness (and it's still pretty wild now -- in 10,000+ square miles of National Forests and monuments.)

Very scarce Ersnt Roehm PRIVATE Real Photo RPPC of him along with others conducting a review of SA and SS troops. Roehm was murdered on July 2, 1934 on the "Night of the Long Knives" when Hitler purged his party of inconvenient allies. In top condition.

"Deutsches Maedchen"/ German Girl by Hermann Heide. A rare card from Blood and Soil youth movement Bund Artman eV, founded in Munich in 1926 (see Wikipedia page for full history and bibliography). They changed their name to "Die Artamanen. Buendische Gemeinden fuer Landarbeit und Siedlung" / The Artamans. Federated Communities for Land Work and Settlement in 1929, by which time most of their members had already joined of the Nazi party. They merged with the Hitler Youth in 1934. A bit worn at the edges, but a very scarce HJ forerunner card.
