Luft-Feldpost cover to FPN02442, schwere Artillerie-Abteilung 97, inside the Stalingrad encirclement (Kessel), where the hapless German units were trapped until the ultimate annihilation of Paulus' 6th Army. Worn, good, genuinely used condition, as per scan. A very rare cover -- arrived in Stalingrad but marked "Undeliverable, receiver is no longer with the unit". This particular unit Feldpost return is specifically listed in Michel, CV EUR1000(!)
