Postcard datelined Nagasaki April 15, 1901, used from on board the SMS Kaiserin Elisabeth, provisioning for its posting in China to support the Alliance of 8 Country's troops in suppressing the Boxer Rebellion. This is a scarce card from the small contingent of the Austrian Kriegsmarine in the Far East at this period. Austria had a relatively small Navy which became landlocked after WWI. With two different Kaiserin Elisabeth cachets and FELDPOST in block letters. Rare!
