Rare early Real Photo RPPC showing Hauptmann / Captain Hermann Goehring (Goering) in a black leather overcoat with Pour-le-Merit medal at his throat and with a swastika painted on his helmet. Used in May 1924(!) during the period when Hitler was still in Landsberg prison for the Beer Hall Putsch, in which Goering here got himself 'nobly' wounded. At this time Goering himself was in Austria, fleeing the German authorities for his role in the abortive Putsch. A *rare* card, made even more so by being used. The message reverse is hard to decipher, but I believe it says the writer went to an NSDAP meeting while on vacation. And "greetings to Else, Emma and ?", signed A Bachmann.
