Feldpost cover from Concentration Camp Moringen, bearing Dienstsiegel / Service cachet of SS Sonderlager Moringen Jugendschutzlager. Very rare cover from a tiny camp made to house and punish disaffected youth -- "Swing Kids" who danced to Jazz music, actual criminals, and those associated with partisan activities in occupied countries. "Moringen became the first juvenile camp where prisoners were assigned to barracks based on their biological characteristics according to Robert Ritter's theory of race hygiene." [Wikipedia] Those deemed unable to progress through the Moringen system were sterilized and/or deported to other concentration camps for further 'education' or elimination.
