Covers to Ebrulf Zuber, former Waffen SS Obersturmfuehrer, member of the SS nordland, Adjutant to General Felix Steiner, etc., being held in the Kornwestheim (by Stuttgart) facility for suspected war criminals. But Instead of being prosecuted as an SS leader, he was promoted to the anti-Soviet Gehlen spy organization and later became the first director of the Federal Intelligence Service. A fictionalized version of the Gehlen organization appears in many spy novels, especially Robert Ludlum, which (in this case accurately) showed how lots of Nazi's escaped their past because of their perceived usefulness.
