| Carl Peters Germany East Africa DOA Colony Leader Criminal Autograph Cover Autograph Letter Signed (ALS) from Carl Peters, one of the founders of the German
East Africa Colony, and an administrator so brutal even for the times that he had to flee prosecution. He is writing from French Algiers, outside the grip of the German authorities. Of course, posthumously he was rehabilitated by the 1930s govt and even got his own stamp as a 'Legendary Explorer' for his brutality.
