| Germany 1941 WWII Battleship Bismarck Feldpost Correspondence With Contents Amazing, original Nachlass / estate lot from sailor aboard the German WWII Schlachtschiff / Battleship Bismarck, FPN16287, from its christening/construction phase to its maiden (and final) voyage. The best piece is doubtless the cover from the day of departure on it's first/last battle cruise, but every cover is a Feldpost from the ship, with contents, sent home to the sailor's wife. Quite a find -- I was astonished that after over 80 years one of these collections could turn up intact.
