A long-time airman, having survived serving in various WWI Zeppelin airships, he was with the Graf from the start (we have several pioneer usages as well!). We were lucky enough to purchase the entire Zeppelin collection of the nephew, who took all of "Onkel Karl's" correspondence. This card is from Oberingenieur Karl to his friend Gottfried Braun in Esslingen, signed "Beste Gruesse, Karl."
