Brazilian card flown aboard the Graf Zeppelin LZ127 airship's 1936 Suedamerikafahrt (SAF) / South America Flight. Slightly worn, very good condition. '17 CV EUR70. This is from the estate of the nephew of Oberingenieur Karl Beuerle, a lead mechanic on the Zeppelin. A long-time airman, having survived serving in various WWI Zeppelin airships, he was with the Graf from the start (we have several pioneer usages as well!). We were lucky enough to purchase the entire Zeppelin collection of the nephew, who took all of "Onkel Karl's" correspondence and added to it with many further flights (such as this one). Great colorful franking.
