Zeppelin Real Photo RPPC card flown aboard the Graf Zeppelin airship's 1930 Schweizfahrt / Switzerland- Liechtenstein flight. With Bordpost / on-board cancel and VADUZ drop receiver. '17 CV EUR450++. Slightly worn, very good condition, as per scans. This is from the estate of the nephew of Oberingenieur Karl Beuerle, a lead mechanic on the Zeppelin. A long-time airman, having survived serving in various WWI Zeppelin airships, he was with the Graf from the start (we have several pioneer usages as well!). We were lucky enough to purchase the entire Zeppelin collection of the nephew, who took all of "Onkel Karl's" correspondence. This card is signed by Hindenburg pilot Kurt Schoenheer at lower left.
