German Hugo Eckener postcard flown on the Graf Zeppelin LZ127 airship's 1930 Spitzbergenfahrt - Nordlandfahrt / North Lands - Spitzbergen Flight with Bordpost / On-Board cancel, Hammerfest drop and arrival, as well as futher Luftpost / Airmail forwarding through Stuttgart. Slightly worn, good condition, as per scans. '17 CV EUR70. A long-time airman, having survived serving in various WWI Zeppelin airships, he was with the Graf from the start (we have several pioneer usages as well!). We were lucky enough to purchase the entire Zeppelin collection of the nephew, who took all of "Onkel Karl's" correspondence.
