German Imperial 1902 Deutsches Reich Germania - Berlin Head Post Office unwatermarked issue stamp used on 6000 Mark Wertbrief / money letter. With Jaeschke BPP Attest / photo certificate stating the cover is "has a genuine cancel and is fully, correctly postage-paid" and that the stamp has "fresh color, is well-perfed, and except for a small tear at top without fault". Cover is a bit worn and toned, with wax seals reverse, as per scans. A really nice looking, 'portogerecht' cover in a rare variety. The Michel catalog states that the listed prices is for a packet card, and that a correctly-franked Wertbrief catalogs at least EUR3000 or more.
